Complete the waiver
You’ll need to fill out the climbing waiver, acknowledging the risks of climbing, before you can start. It is best to do this online, before you even visit, although we do have tablets ready at reception. Please watch the video too.
Autobelays
If you want to use the autobelays then you will need to do our free autobelay induction, regardless of how experienced you are.
Novice climbers
If you are new to climbing and only want to boulder, we’ll give you a free 10 minute induction. For a small fee of £25 per person, we also provide a one hour introduction to basic techniques to help you gain confidence on the wall.
Experienced climbers
If you are an experienced climber and only want to boulder, we’ll ask you a few questions to check your competency and you’ll be good to go.
U18s
Under 18s must be supervised by an adult who has passed our supervisor competency check. A supervising adult pays no entry fee and can supervise up to two under 18s at any one time.
Over 14s may climb independently after passing our free unsupervised junior assessment. A parent must be present for the assessment.

Liquid chalk only
We care a great deal about the health of our staff and customers and try our best to maintain good air quality in our centre. Besides investing heavily into air filters and plants, we are also a liquid chalk only centre.
