Job Advert – Weekend Café Staff at Gallery Bouldering

We need you to staff the café facilities on our beautiful mezzanine, above the bouldering area. This is initially a temporary six-month contract, which we hope to make permanent. Ten hours per week (10am-3pm Saturdays & Sundays) are guaranteed, with the potential for significant overtime.

You will:

• Help to provide a high-quality café service on the mezzanine, making and serving hot and cold drinks and food to users of Gallery Bouldering and the wider public.
• Assist with food preparation and washing up.
• Help maintain proper levels of cleanliness and tidiness.

Essential criteria – you will need to demonstrate:

• Experience of working under pressure in a cafe or kitchen environment.
• A friendly and engaged manner to ensure the highest levels of customer service.
• Ability to work and communicate with team members.

It will help your application if you have: 

• Barista training.
• Back of house /food preparation experience.
